The Conference of European Churches (CEC) will hold its 9th Summer School on Human Rights addressing the theme “Intersection between Security, Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights” from 13-16 June 2022 in Malmö, Sweden, hosted by the Church of Sweden. The event will be held in hybrid format and the registrations are now open.
The Summer School on Human Rights will address from a Christian perspective issue of the increasing security threats to religious communities all over Europe and the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a new and forceful factor in shaping life and society.
The programme of the event includes training related to the Safer and Stronger Communities in Europe (SASCE) project, European Commission funded interfaith initiative, carried out by CEC. The participants will also discuss security challenges in Europe on an interfaith level. They will explore the links between security, artificial intelligence and human rights.
The programme of the Summer School is developed by CEC Thematic Group on Human Rights and CEC Thematic Group on Science, New Technologies and Christian Ethics.
The CEC Summer School on Human Rights is held each year since 2013 with objectives to raise awareness and enhance skills and expertise of its participants.
