European Christian Environmental Network Assembly rescheduled for 2021

28 April, 2020

In consideration of the COVID- 19 crisis and concerns for health and security, the European Christian Environmental Network (ECEN) Assembly is postponed this year. The Assembly will now take place from 28 May to 2 June 2021 in Bad Herrenalb, Germany. The event will address the theme “Reconciled with creation: A call for urgent action on climate and biodiversity”.

ECEN Secretary Rev. Dr Peter Pavlovic announced the decision last week.

“The continuing impact of the pandemic, predictions regarding health, security and continuing limitations of mobility has enforced a decision on the timing of the ECEN Assembly,” said Pavlovic. “ECEN has taken into consideration the current situation and decided on new dates.”

ECEN Assembly will continue to be an opportunity to gather those committed to the care for creation with renewed energy. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss how to transform new experiences into concrete steps. ECEN will keep those interested informed on next steps.
