Energy and climate change – the churches’ role and voice
10th Assembly of the European Christian Environmental Network
The 10th Assembly of the European Christian Environmental Network (ECEN) under the theme ‘Energy and Climate Change – the Churches’ Role and Voice’ will take place from 27 September – 1 October 2014 in Balatonszárszó (Hungary). The aim of the meeting is to offer a space for a discussion on recent developments in climate change, energy and ethics, and to strengthen Churches’ engagement and cooperation in responding to these concerns.
The Conference is an opportunity for Christians from all around the continent to engage in work on care for creation, the Churches’ response to the most pressing challenges of environment, collaborate on common projects and discuss synergies.
